SwapKit, Inc. (“SwapKit”, “we”, “our”, or “Company”) facilitates the transfer of data between blockchains on behalf of businesses, using API-based integrations. Our customers are typically businesses; their customers (you) are referred to as “end users”.

We collect very limited data necessary to provide our services and comply with applicable laws. This may include public wallet addresses and partial IP addresses. We do not sell or share data for marketing purposes or use it for automated profiling, aside from limited wallet screening for legal compliance.

Note: If you reach our platform via a third-party, please review that party’s privacy policy.

We do not collect fiat payment data. Any fiat conversion is done via third-party contractors bound by privacy restrictions.


2. Scope of Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to the extent required by applicable law. SwapKit does not currently believe it is subject to GDPR (EU/UK) or similar frameworks, given our narrow data practices and U.S.-based operations.


3. Definitions

  • Digital Asset: Cryptocurrencies or tokens such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.
  • Wallet: A public crypto address (not private keys).
  • Personal Information: Any information that identifies you.
  • Service Provider: A third party acting on SwapKit’s behalf.
  • End Users: Individuals who access SwapKit via a customer app/site.

4. Data Controllers

SwapKit is the data controller for the information it collects. All data is stored in the U.S., and we apply reasonable security measures including encryption and server-side protection.

  • Identifiers: Wallet addresses, partial IP addresses
  • Contact Info: Email (from businesses, not end users)
  • Blockchain Data: Wallet history, transaction history
  • Log Data: IP, browser type, screen resolution, device type
  • Tracking Data: Cookies, analytics tools

Note: We do not collect sensitive personal information like SSNs or medical records.


6. How We Use Your Data

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and improve services
  • Monitor and secure systems

We do not use data for marketing or unsolicited promotions.
