SwapKit Quarterly Report – Q2 2026

SwapKit Q2 2026

💡 In Q2 2026, SwapKit’s primary strategic objective was to expand the breadth and flexibility of its integration toolkit, delivering powerful new requested features, adding more fee customization and onboarding high-impact liquidity providers.

In Q2 2026, SwapKit showed strong relative resilience in a continued challenging market environment. Monthly swap volume remained substantial — ranging between $395M and $512M — with a mid-quarter dip in May followed by a June recovery to $427M as the broader DEX market rebounded modestly from its $179B low. Importantly, while global DEX volumes fell roughly 25% from Q1 to Q2, SwapKit volume declined only 9.5%, indicating meaningful share gains and sustained demand. SwapKit also maintained consistent transaction activity by onboarding new customers (Wormhole, Ballet, BitBox, Vultisig, NuFi, WAGMI).

On the product side, the team launched the Swap Widget — a fully embeddable cross-chain swap interface featuring a no-code visual Studio for brand customization and affiliate fee support, manageable directly from the Partner Dashboard. The Limit Order API was also released, giving integrators the ability to offer price-contingent swaps that execute automatically and asynchronously when market conditions are met, bringing CEX-style trading functionality to any app. On the monetization front, audited 1inch wrapper contracts now enable compliant fee collection on single-chain volume that was previously difficult to monetize, while partners also gained access to stablecoin fee configuration from the Dashboard for more precise pricing control.

Underpinning these releases, SwapKit completed a full infrastructure refactor — migrating from manually configured GCP resources to a Terraform-driven, multi-region setup with dynamic load balancing to reduce provider latency for partners worldwide. The team also welcomed a new Developer Relations Engineer to lead developer satisfaction and partner implementation work — a hire that reflects SwapKit’s strong financial position and growing demand at a time when many peers in the space are scaling back.

Growth Highlights

These figures are best read in context: swap volume is SwapKit’s primary revenue driver, and with Bitcoin and other crypto assets trading at lower prices and reduced volatility, aggregate volume naturally contracts regardless of platform activity. Against that backdrop, monthly active users and total transaction count are the clearer growth signals — both confirm SwapKit is continuing to expand its share of the market even as asset prices sit below prior highs.

Part of maintaining these numbers was also a monetization improvement: some volume had previously been technically difficult to monetize, and the launch of our audited 1inch wrapper contract enabled fee collection on that volume — and in a cleaner way than before.

Main update: SwapKit sustained stable monthly transaction volume across an extended period of industry-wide decline — maintaining above $390M for nine consecutive months while total DEX market volume contracted by more than 64%.

From October 2024 through June 2026, DEX volumes fell from $539B to $195B. SwapKit closed the same period within 4% of its October level, recording positive month-over-month growth in five of the last eight months. This performance reflects SwapKit’s structural advantage: as market-wide activity compressed, its share of total volume grew — evidence of durable platform adoption and the resilience of its integration ecosystem.

Single chain swaps monetization

SwapKit launched audited wrapper contracts that enable compliant fee collection for 1inch volume — previously difficult to monetize. The contracts support distinct, independent fee collection for both SwapKit and its integrators, and give us control over whether the fee is taken in the input or output token, with a preference for stablecoins, gas assets, and blue-chip cryptocurrencies.

Wormhole × SwapKit × Mayan Mutual Integration

SwapKit Supported chains (via Mayan): ETH, Solana, BSC, Monad, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Optimism, and Polygon

SwapKit is integrated with both Wormhole and Mayan — two connected but distinct pieces of infrastructure:

  • Wormhole — cross-chain financial infrastructure connecting assets, data, and applications across 45+ blockchains, with over $68B in all-time transfer volume.
  • Mayan — an intent-based cross-chain execution layer, backed by and built on Wormhole, where solvers compete in real-time auctions to guarantee the best price on any-token swaps across major chains in seconds, non-custodially.

The integration runs both ways: SwapKit uses Mayan as one of its swap providers, and in turn serves as Wormhole’s exclusive native Bitcoin provider, feeding BTC quotes into Wormhole’s Mayan-powered Portal Swap. These routes surface automatically through SwapKit’s existing routers, so users get optimal execution without developers adding any extra logic.

New Hire: Developer Relations Engineer

We’re excited to welcome a new Developer Relations (DevRel) Engineer to the SwapKit team. She brings close to 10 years of experience building software in finance, and will lead our developer satisfaction efforts, working directly with partners to implement requests that make SwapKit a more powerful and flexible solution.

This hire reflects SwapKit’s strong financial position and growing demand for our platform, at a time when many firms in the space are scaling back. She’s also fluent in English, French, and Chinese, giving us valuable coverage across key markets in our industry.

New Feature: Wallet Sweep

Opt-in flag wallets can set on a quote or swap request to signal “send the user’s entire balance.” When it’s on and the requested amount is at or near the wallet’s full balance, the API recognises the request as a max-spend and automatically trims the amount by the estimated network fee — calculated from live gas prices so the transaction actually succeeds instead of failing for insufficient funds or leaving behind unspendable dust. This improves the user experience and removes the guess work of integrators needing to estimate the true spendable balance.

Infrastructure Update: full multi-region support

SwapKit completed a full infrastructure refactor, moving from manually configured Google Cloud Platform resources to a fully Terraform-driven setup. We expanded from a single-region deployment to a multi-region architecture with servers in North America, Europe and Asia. Requests are routed dynamically by smart load balancers, optimizing for latency and reliability. This is a critical improvement given that we serve partners globally, and provider latency remains a top concern for wallets.

New Provider: Flashnet Orchestra

SwapKit Supported chains: BTC, ETH, Solana, LTC, Zcash, TRON, BSC, TON, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, XRPL

Founded by David Marcus, Flashnet is a Bitcoin-native orchestration layer that lets users swap between BTC and stablecoins across major chains in seconds — without bridges, wrapped tokens, or giving up custody of their assets. Built on Spark (Bitcoin’s L2), Flashnet’s Orchestra protocol handles routing, bridging, and settlement against native Bitcoin liquidity through a single async API.

Flashnet’s architecture delivers sub-second matching and ZeroConf Bitcoin deposit confirmation (under 10 seconds), non-custodial asset control, and zero slippage on BTC/stablecoin pairs. Because Flashnet routes surface through SwapKit’s existing quote engine, developers get native Bitcoin coverage with zero additional integration work.
